“Not Available On The App Store” Stickers Encourage Kids To Play Outside

Three digital media students from Sweden’s Hyper Island—Caio Andrade, Rafael Ochoa, and Linn Livijn Wexell—have embarked on an interesting project involving stickers that say “Not Available on the App Store.” Part guerrilla street art, part quirky parody, the project involves placing the stickers throughout playgrounds and on non-digital toys, poking fun at the Apple iPhone’s “There’s An App For That” ad campaign while simultaneously encouraging kids today to explore the fun to be had in the physical world around them.
